- LenSaticExplorerYou can do a map search here: http://www.geocommunicator.gov/blmMap/Map.jsp?MAP=LAND Make sure all of the BLM boxes are checked. Looks like it depends on which way you are headed afterward.

- louiskathyExplorerAre you a member of Escapees? SKP's have a campground between the Carlsbad Cavern's and Roswell NM. It's had some flooding in the past six years or so due to HEAVY rains filling and overflowing the area behind them. WONDERFUL group of people there when we were there in 2012. Lakewood Ranch- near Carlsbad - prices in 2012 were $14 /night or $50/week +electric & taxes etc.
Made us feel like family from the moment we arrived.
heads up on those pack rat critters... NO MATTER WHERE YOU END UP STAYING... put a light under your rig so they don't sneak in and chew during the night. - mmccray100ExplorerThanks, louiskathy, I am an SKP member but have used it only once so it's not in my thought process yet.
I did just that and am staying at The Ranch for a week.
