Boondocking on the beach
Hi everybody,
I'm planning short trip this August with my 35' RV to the LA area. I wanted to stay at the Hungtinton beach campground located at the north side of the parking lot, but it's full of course.
I've been checking all or most of the campgrounds on the beach in this area and they are full.
Then I found out about "boondocking" and was thinking on doing this as close as possible to the beach.
I found this video: (Which it looks to me like the Malibu area?)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6LHVbKCDLI
Which is pretty much everything I'm looking for, on the sand and free, that's perfect, is it legal to spend the night on the should of the Pacific Highway like in that video?
I'm planning on going on a Wednesday so I don't expect to have problems with space on the shoulder.
Any ideas or thoughts you can give me, please?
Thanks
