If you are looking for a spot for this Summer, good luck! We are going to the Denver area end of July. We started looking for a campsite in January and we had difficulty as the spots we considered first were already reserved. We ended up getting a campsite at Chatfield State Park. It was about the only place left. We figured we could bedroom park there and use it as a base camp to visit the other places we really wanted to go to.

If you are looking for a site for this Summer, I suggest you just Google search "Campgrounds, Denver, CO" and just start searching their web sites and making calls. Good luck!
