As our Kids live just south of Boulder We have visited all and trust me Golden Gate is over 60 minutes in a Good Sports Car, with a good driver. :-)
Last option could be a Wal*Mart if only for a day or so.
Done that too.
People need to understand that 35 miles into the Mountains is not Close. One truck or School Bus and it can be 90 minutes. (been there done that)
