If you don't mind going a bit further north, both Carter Lake and Flatirons Reservoir are nice spots. They are ran by Larimer County. Probably an hour or so to Boulder.
But yes otherwise, the closest spot I can think of is St. Vrain. It's next to I-25 so keep that in mind.
