Been to Birchview many times. It's a decent and cheap place to stay, if you aren't looking for activities/frills. We stay in the front area down by the pond - those are the transient sites and they are fairly open. The sites in the back and up the hill are mostly seasonal and the roads are narrow and winding - you don't want to be up there with a 40' coach. The CG has a pretty nice pool, but that won't be relevant off season. The store also has a small grill for getting some kinds of food.
