- golf_bearsExplorerHenleyd, thanks for the info on Table Rock SP. We have a 42' 5th wheel, is getting in and driving around to sites easy, no low hanging branches, tight turns, etc?
How about getting there, we're comminr in on 165 from the South. We're in Morrilton AR right now at Petit Jean SP. - Edd505ExplorerI liked Stagecoach https://bransonstagecoach.com/. I was looking for a back way to town and found this sign
I did not take my 5w down.
- loggenrockExplorergolf_bears, we're just outside Laconia. :)
- padredwNomadI agree with Henleyd. Number one is Table Rock State Park. This would always be my first choice. Number two would be Old Highway 86. It is a bit far out, but worth the drive.
- AnonymousTable Rock State Park. Wide sites, clean, full hookups. walking trails, next to the marina and the showboat. Lakeside is great, but on top of each other. Koa is nice, good location. There are others, but over by silver dlr city and crowded. Old 86 is great. This is Corp, but all great views and juts out in the lake. Super nice. And a little off beaten path, but close to big cedar lodge. I live across the lake from old 86 and next to state park so I see them often. Lakeside is always crowded and again, sites are on top of each other. My choice is state park on hwy 165. Enjoy.
- golf_bearsExplorerLoggenrock, where in NH are you from? Wife is originally from Jaffrey and I'm from Berlin.
- loggenrockExplorerx2 for Lakeside. Walking distance to Branson Landing. Been there twice - would certainly stay there again. And...it's a heck of a lot flatter than many of the other parks in the area!!!

Very convenient to main strip.
We just left there last Thursday we stayed in the KOA for a week - the give you 10% extra off if you stay a week in addition to the KOA 10% off if you are a member -
We love the location - very close to town - jplante4Explorer IIWe stayed at Shenanigans at the other end of the strip. Traffic everywhere you want to go. Also, the sites are terraced into the side of a hill, so it's not big rig friendly. You're looking down on your neighbor's roof.
We explored Lakeside and would probably stay there if we go again. It's closer to old downtown and the scenic trains. - BB_TXNomadBeen several years, but we stayed at the KOA and would again.
