branson mo

My review of branson. If you are going to any shows go early in your stay. because the theater will offer discounts to other shows there. Looking for a great breakfast check out Hungry Hunter restaurant breakfast and lunch only. Pancakes are huge. cinamon roll comes in at 2 pounds? also if looking for good smaoked brisket and the most friendly staff in a bar, check out cheeky monkey. just a dive bar but food is excellent.

Top of the rock. nice but expensive. 10$ to park and golf cart ride 30 a person. also restaurant Osage which is what i was told upscale serves same food as Buffalo Bar and at same price, things that make you go what?
  • A few of our fav's

    Fall Creek Steakhouse and Catfish
    Mel's Hard Luck Diner
    White River Fish House
Mr G's Chicago Pizza & Pub

    Branson Lakeside RV Park

    Dick's 5 & 10

We get all of our show tickets from Branson Tourism Center. We always visit during 4th of July week so we get the tickets early before they sell out.
  • Thanks for pointing out some good point in Branson. Let me add a couple of not so well known spots. Branson Center Stage Bar and Grill on Friday and Sat has a to kill for prime rib. They smoke it, its the best tasting prime rib I have ever had. Its worth checking out.

Although some feel it different, for the dollars spent the Dolly Parton Stampede and dinner show is the best value for all out money spent.

If you are with kids or a small group go to McFarlands to eat. You have to ask for the "table that raises up". They have two tables that over your meal the table very very slowly will raise up. The whole thing is well worth it.

    Enjoy Branson
  • Top of the rock will suck every penny you have. Just got back from Branson and it ususally cost me about 500 bucks to get there with rv and boat and eating.

this time we went to top of the rock and we dropped 200 dollars just on that place alone.
  • Wife's cousin owns Mel Diner and the Thomas Kincaide gallery. Stayed at Lakeside several times. Site's very close although it is on the lake. Stayed and will continue to stay at ABC Campground. Offers several discounts including Veteran. Farmhouse has THE best Blackberry cobbler made. We visit Branson every September and have been known to visit the Farmhouse and eat the cobbler for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
