Before it was a water park, the Buccaneer Bay site in western Waveland, known as Jackson Ridge, was a garbage dump.
Sorry I prefer to swim in a park that was NOT a garbage dump.
And I most definitely would not park my RV in the CG there and use their water hookups on top of a landfill!
They can't maintain open garbage dumps within safe levels, my bet is they closed this dump without any guidelines being followed. And then all this waste being disturbed by the floods from Katrina? I'd head for the hills!
Sorry to be a 'wet' blanket on your news of this water park opening but it is what it is. :B
