Buffalo Round Up

I will be heading to SD for the Buffalo Roundup and have a couple questions. Of the two parking places is one better than the other? Are the Buffalo close enought to make it worth taking a video camera? I know the gates open at 6:15 but how early do I need to get in line?

    The Buffalo are alot closer to you on the North side. There are two parking areas on the north side. If you stay in the right lane you will be put into the parking area closer to the fence. Get in line early. I would get there about 5:00 A.M. There will be a place to get coffee and something to eat once you get parked. Take chairs with you and get as close to the fence as you can get. The riders and the buffalo will get very close to the fence. It will be a long wait but well worth it.
