Took off from Eastern Washington in my 2017 Ram Cummins 2500 pulling a wildcat maxx 28rkx probably weighing close to 10k, its about 8k dry. Man that truck pulls that trailer good. On flat stretches I would put in 6th gear and let it go and on hills or passes would lock in 5th and it just straight pulls. Even had to make a pitstop in Havre Montana to pick up two combine tires for my cousin which probably weighed 700 pounds or so, so I had a pretty good load. I never did hand calculated mileage but computer said overall for the 2400 miles was 12.7mpg. Glad I wasnt making that trip with the 6.4 hemi i traded in for the cummins.

ya a little bit. Went through glacier national park but I was probably close to that or worse in slow traffic going up hill. Id say maybe 100-150 miles was non towing.

Good, even if you were at 12, then that would be excellent!

Well guys here what I got for mileageDrove 2267 miles used 195 us gal of fuel and got 11.7 miles per gal us (3627km used 739L which works out to 14 miles per gal Canadian)450 miles(700km)would of been running around rest pulling.the outside temp was 90-105 (32-41) went from Viking Alberta to Wenatchee wa and back first two weeks of Aug

For comparison I just completed a 3100 mile trip in the North East with my Winnie and the V10 and got 8 mpg average. hahaha I actually thought that was OK considering I went through the white mountains of VT.

Honey Badger Don't Give a Chit

Last month we made a tow to Branson MO. Towed thru some serious mountains in Ark and my truck pulled those grades with ease, but didn't check the fuel economy. On flat land towing to FL. I got 11-12 mpg depending on wind speed.
