It's a no brainer for me, I'll take the bugs over snow anytime.
The one other thing I quickly found out when I was parked on a 'lake' is a bug they call the blind mosquitoes.
They are not really mosquitoes but they are so thick you have to cover your face when you go outside because they go in your eyes, nose and mouth. And they get into your MH and houses where they are 2 inches thick around the windows and ceiling when they die.
CG owners swore up and down they only come once a year for a couple of weeks. But I packed up the MH and moved! :B
After 2 years of traveling around Florida I finally found central Florida up around Ocala. No mosquitoes, a nice breeze and real trees.:C
