RC,
We have stayed at C & C in Lincoln, AL several times while attending the NASCAR races at Talladega Superspeedway. We have been there during major rain storms in the Spring and have never had any problems. Our yearly site is BB-9, which is located off on the west side of the park. This site is grass covered, but when you drive a stake in the ground for awnings, patio mats, etc., you immediately hit pea gravel. I have to assume the sites purposely have gravel under the pads. The interior roads do get muddy in some areas. The folks that run C&C are extremely nice. PM me if you would like addition info and suggestions for this park. I don't know how big the Samboree is, but I would try to get a E&W spot on the west side. They are not as close together as most of the others.
