Their coming from Florida. Those parks aren't that far apart considering the almost 3000 miles drive to get there.

Do you have at leaast a day to drive through Yosemite Valley and a day to make the detour? (two half days really). It's a four hour drive from Sequoia? Plenty threads on where to stay in Yosemite. Catch is you have to stay south of 41 around Coarsegold or go around on 99 and camp off 120 or 140 with that size rig. You would exit the valley to the NW side and a half day or less to get back on track for your route to the Redwoods.

Ancient Redwoods RV in Redcrest is a great place for big rigs and you're right in the heart of the big trees. Lovely easy hiking trails amongst them. It's on 101.

Redwood first - We were in the area again about a month ago. Lots to choose from. Refer to one of the RV park review sites to narrow it down. We park our 37'er at the best full-hook-up sites we can find & then drive the dinghy. In Crescent City we stayed at Shoreline right on the bay. Watched sea lions frolic within 50 yds of our window. From there you can access the northernmost redwoods. We also checked out Mystic Forest in Klamath. We will use that at some point. Prairie Creek is great, but I do believe it is a drive recommended for 4wd to get to Gold Beach. And the road was closed due to a landslide while we were in the area if we're talking the same place. We accessed that area from Azaela Glen RV in Trinidad. Excellent. Ancient Redwoods south of Eureka is one of our favorites, but it was closed for the season during our visit. River Walk in Fortuna would be my second choice for the area. These two allow for access to the Avenue of the Giants.
For Seqouia we last stayed at Country Manor in Visalia. Not much to choose from for bigger rigs in the Seqouia/Yosemite area. Once again, check the review sites to see what fits your needs.

Many people confuse the area State Parks and the National Park. The govt. may have grouped some of the parks for funding and maintenance, but the only public park related campgrounds that I recall are within the state park system and not the national park.

And no trailers allowed down to Gold Bluff.

While Gold Beach in Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park is nice, there is no way you will fit in there. The Klamath River area just north of there has several RV parks you can use. In the southern section south of Eureka, Humbolt Redwoods SP has several campground. I use either Albee Creek or the commercial one, Ancient Redwoods RV park.

Regarding an early comment about "no campgrounds in Redwood" they obviously do not know the area. There are a number of campgrounds in the park Here is the best one IMHO

We have spent the last two winters on the Oregon and California coasts, For Redwoods I would recommend the KOA in Crescent City or Hiouchi RV Resort is really nice.
