You can get a feel for the park by using Google Earth. Carowinds is on the north side of Carowinds Blvd. The campground is on the west side of the park, just off the Blvd. There's a large pool just beyond the coaster tracks. The park is just west of the pool. Hardly a resort, Camp Wilderness will be convenient for a two day visit to the park. There are two other parks within a short drive with far more ambiance for less cost, should you elect to extend your stay in the area. Carowinds is fun, especially for the kids. Enjoy your trip.
