Carowinds CG is a nice place to stay. Shuttle provided from there to the park and back. Discount tickets to Carowinds for campers. they have a pool and a lodge of sorts but not much else. Of course after going to Carowinds, you will be just looking for a place to rest anyway. Used to be a pricey cg though. About $60/night if I remember correctly. McDowell Preserve is a county cg just 4 miles away that is lots cheaper, not much to do there either though, cg is in driving distance to a lake. No full hookups.
