I usually do not respond to post about this campground but I feel compelled to provide some input. Check out reviews about Carowinds Campground.
The last time we stayed there, which was about 3 years ago, the whole campground itself was heading toward nothing short of a memory of what it used to be. The water was so bad we had to go purchase water at a local chain for drinking. Most all of the RV sites were so in need of repairs and updating. I am pretty tolerable if I can see that they are trying to make improvements but it was not to be so here. It was so bad that we vowed we would never go back unless things changed.
We don't mind paying a decent price for a campsite if we feel we get what we paid for. But with this place, it was no where near where it should have been. Just IMHO.
