- Hector_BravoExplorerMinuteman worked well for our needs so I made reservations. After that it is off to Atlantic Oaks on the Cape. This trip was delayed from last year so I am very excited to have it on the calendar.
Thanks for the help! - fwedExplorerMinuteman is in Littleton -- I stand corrected. That's what I get for depending on my memory. It's still a good bit closer to Salem than Plymouth or Normandy Farms.
There are others much closer, but with their own set of problems. Beacch Rose in Salisbury is nice, but hard to jack-knife anything bigger than a PUP in there. Cape Ann CG in Gloucester is okay. We just prefer Minuteman for it's proximity to many areas.
fwed. - Hector_BravoExplorerThank you, all. I am not eligible for Hanscom and I will checkout the other suggestions.
Living outside of NYC I appreciate the advantage of mass transit. Thanks for the tip.
Thank you all so much. - jplante4Explorer IIWinter Island park is in Salem. Got a 7.5 on RV Park Reviews. Minuteman is an hour at least from Salem.
BTW Minuteman is in Littleton, not Lincoln. - fwedExplorerMinuteman CG in Lincoln -- NW of Boston. Near enough to I-495 for easy access, bur far enough to be quiet. Lexington and Concord very near.
fwed. - jfkmkExplorerWe stayed at Pinewood Lodge in Plymouth. It's a little south but an easy commute to Salem and Boston. Use mass transit to get into Boston. You won't regret it!
- Second_ChanceExplorer IIIf you're eligible, we've stayed at the Hanscom AFB FamCamp north of the city. It served us well for day-tripping and seeing the area (although Salem was a bit of a disappointment).
