Campground near Dandridge Tenn.

Anchor down is a brand new campground and it is VERY nice. some areas are still under construction tho. cheapest site is $49 I believe so if budget is a concern it could be prohibitive. Another option is just past swanns marina on 25w/70, I forget the name right now, but it is nowhere near the quality of Anchor Down. The problem with campgrounds in the Dandgrige area is they are mostly long term lease sites. There is one jsut south of doewn town called The Point Marina BUT,IF YOU COME FROM THE NORTH THRU TOWN THERE IS A VERY NARROW BRIDGE OVER THE LAKE, AND I MEAN NARROW TOO. AN RV WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PASS BY ANOTHER VEHICLE COMMING THE OTHER WAY. Good luck in your search.
