Campground near Great Adventure NJ

We will be going to Great Adventure in Jackson NJ this summer. What are the good campgrounds near here ?

    Second the opinion on Indian Rock. Don't know why people like the owners have a CG! If you are planning on camping over a weekend, would suggest reservations ASAP. Campgrounds in NJ fill up quickly for weekends - too few of them, high demand!

    Its been a few years ago But I used to take my 39' TT to Turkey Swamp all the time. There are a few large sites.

    Turkey swamp is small... No sewer. Only water and electric... You cant get big campers in there.. 24 ft maybe. It will be tight.

    Timberland Lake is nice. Kind of party area in the back section. We go there beginning and end of season as a start finish..

    Indian rock is like a Nazi camp.. Very strict owners... Ill never go there ever.

    Butterfly or tim tam are OK..
