This one is right in Bristol which is maybe 6-7 miles from Hartford..
This would be a good option. Nelson is a good campground but not exactly the quickest to Hartford. You would have to go up Rt 66 north to Rt 2 into Hartford or 66 south to Rt 9 to I91 to Hartford. I think Bear Creek would be best if you can get in.
