We want to visit Magee Marsh ( just east of Toledo ) A Search on Woodalls iPhone app doesn't show anything nearby, other than s State Park west of there near Toledo.
Does anyone know of CG in this area ?
Maumee Bay is off Rt. 2 about 4 miles east of I-280 (St. Charles Hospital is on the corner of your exit) We have been there quite a few times and really like it. You have electric only at the sites but depending on where you get parked you can run a hose from one of the hydrants and refill your tank if necessary. You won't find any bigger spaces in very many parks. Good Luck and Happy Camping - jeb5ExplorerYou will enjoy Maumee Bay State Park. It is truly one of the finest state parks that we have ever used. The park has everything and it is only a short drive off I 280.
The KOA at Stony Ridge is a longer drive and is far lower in quality. - eieiohExplorerWe'll be at Maumee Bay State Park April 15 through the 19th. Best campground in the area. Bring your bikes. Miles of biking trails. Bring your fishing gear. Lots of fish in the lakes. Look out for the deer. They are all over the place. You obviously know about the birding up there.
Here's a link to the park website.

I'll check these out. I did see Maumee Bay SP on Woodalls, the KOA I missed seeing. - jeb5ExplorerMaumee Bay State Park. Short drive and an excellent state park. Eat at the Maumee Bay Supper Club. It is a bar that has excellent fish. Not really a supper club.
- kknowltonExplorer IIThere's a KOA in Stony Ridge/Perrysburg, billed as "Toledo East". Haven't been there, but you can check rvparkreviews.com.
