No way your RV AC will keep up. - Sloop_SmittenExplorerI am a fan of Emerald Desert RV Park in Palm Desert. If it gets too hot head for the pool!
Emerald Desert RV Park - lfloomExplorerJuly? As Tuna FIsher said,is not the idea time to go to PS. According to a climate site I checked, the average temps for July is 108F.
- tuna_fisherExplorerThat was my thought, why July, way to hot.

- Bea_PAExplorerWe stayed in Desert Hot Springs at Caliente, very nice, lot of park models, 1st class amenities, 10 miles from Palm Springs.
- westernrvparkowExplorerArguably the best RV parks in the world are Outdoor Resorts - Indio and Motorcoach Country Club, with Outdoor Resorts Cathedral City not far behind. (I don't count Desert Shores because I don't think you can get a rental site there). But you will pay the price and they aren't everyone's cup of tea. EDIT: Forget what I just said, you are going there in July? The park won't matter. You will be unable to leave your RV it will be so hot. Expect daytime highs to exceed 110 degrees. The pools, if open, will resemble giant hot tubs and will not provide any cooling comfort. The only thing that will matter is how good your air conditioner is. If it is exceptional, you might find the heat bearable. If it works only marginally in normal weather, may God have mercy on your soul. There is a reason nothing goes on in the desert in the summer.
