Campground suggestions for St Louis. Close to Arch

We're taking the kids, 14, 12, & 8, for a spring break trip this April. We're heading from Michigan to the Rocket center in Huntsville, AL. Then to Buccaneer SP in MS. Then to Bayou Segnette in NOLA for a few days. We'd like to stop in St Louis for a day on the way home to go in the arch and explore City Museum.
Any suggestions for a nice place that's close to the attractions? We probably will only stay at the campground to sleep. We need electricity at a minimum.
Thanks in advance.
  • PERE MARQUETTE STATE PARK.
    X2

    Or Babler, a bit farther.
  • Babler is great but not just for a night to see the Arch and the Mounds. The casino is much more convenient for a short stay.
  • We have stayed several places around St Louis but have gone to Cahokia the last few trips though the area. Have stayed at St Louis RV Pk which I wont do again and Im not fond of Casino Queen because of where it is located and Cahokia is central to every thing.
