Thank you for all your suggestions. We loved Munising Tourist Park. We were right on Lake Superior and it was beautiful. We also stayed at Platte River and loved the campground, the sites and the beaut of the area. Michigan is so beautiful in the fall. Now biking Grand Island is another story entirely.
