We stayed ar Grandma's RV a few years back... right off 65... clean level pull-through FHU sites. They have a bunch of rules posted about walking your pets and speed limits and shutting off the lights in the restrooms, but in the end it makes for a nice neat place to stay.
Staff was nothing but helpful and courteous. We would return there again if ever in the area.
If visiting the area be sure to visit:
Fort Knox - Take the time to pass through security and get on the base (NCIC check and id scan) visit the Patton museum and also get a glimpse of the depository...25 minutes from Grandma's
The Whistle Stop - a great little place to eat... a real gem (216 E Main St, Glendale, KY 42740) http://whistlestopky.com/
The flea market right behind Grandma's... wasn't open the days we were there - but heard that it was great...
We stopped here on our way to Mammoth Caves NP, Nashville, Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge/Smoky Mountains NP and the Hatfield and McCoy ATV Trails in WV...
