Campground Web Sites

Why when you go to a Campground web site do they show you pictures of there pool, trees, inside of a room which all could be any wherein the U S but when it comes to where you park which is what I am interested in, there may be one are two if your lucky and I am assuming they are the prime spots in the park not the one where the other guys slide comes over into your spot, hard to judge if you want to stay looking at those.
  • Well, the Big Mac doesn't look the same as it does on TV - and the pictures on the dating sites....

I've tried asking the parks all sorts of questions to avoid bad sites. No matter how careful I was at "reading" the information and asking the questions - the sites were never as I expected. Fortunately, they were never epecially BAD. I was lucky.

I tend to stay at oceanfront parks, so I'm rarely displeased by that aspect.
  • There is usually a good reson they do not show you the actual campsites
  • As a website creator, it sounds like you want a picture of every spot in a park? If you do, it would be much easier to call and ask or just go visit. No matter how a picture is taken someone will complain just like you are. Sorry if this offends you but...

I use Bing Maps with Birdeye view to use in conjunction with the campgrounds' map. I can see where the trees are located.

  • I would think twice about staying at those places.
