Absolutely! Photos of the sites - from various parts of the campground and from different angles is essential. I don't really care to see the kid's all you can eat ice cream party or the Halloween parade, or the craft room. I want to see what the sites look like - which I know from experience after getting to some of these campgrounds, the sites are something they don't want you to see ahead of time, because if you did, you wouldn't come.
Google Satellite and street view has not worked well for me with RV campgrounds - for many the images are way out of date - for a few campgrounds that I have checked on all that Google had to offer were images of the construction site when the campground was being put together a number of years back and never updated. Others just show tree cover with no view of what is below.
