RV Campground reviews. -- Lost web site ???

RV Park Reviews is now owned by the same group that owns the forum site IRV2.com, a competitive forum to this one. Some of the owners of both did/do post here on this forum
I have had the last couple of reviews returned to me for revisions, that I sent in to RV Park Reviews. We just returned from a month long trip to Colorado and Montana but I won't waste my time writing reviews on RV Park Reviews. I don't need my reviews censored by someone that has probably never been to the campground I am reviewing. So I do my reviews on www.rvparky.com, the Allstays app on camping and the Good Sam camping app, one of the best in my opinion. On our month's trip we mainly used these three to find and make reservations. Also found the Good Sam RV Road Atlas to be very handy to choose routes with numerous campgrounds available.

Not true TripAdvisor has far surpassed it

As a not so frequent poster to both RV Park Reviews and Trip Advisor, I can tell you that the RVPRs are the better. As said, read the reviews and don't just look at the score. If the newest review is old, be suspicious. We once found a brand new subdivision where an old review was. We passed the note along.

Why don't I post more often? Because we are trevelers and not so much campers. Do you want reviews of ONP 0HU places? I would write them too, but I can figure out where to post them.

Google Maps and then instead of typing just a city, type "campgrounds near"

Ditto, I liked the old version better but I still use it a lot.

Thanks everyone for the input. I had not lost the web site. When I went to it from my bookmark, it looked so different I thought that it was a different web site.

I the old saying go. "I made a mistake today. I thought I was wrong, but I was right". . . . .:h

As far as RV Park Reviews, 15,000+ campgrounds in their data base, over 260K "RV park only" reviews which is plainly noted on the home page. This is one of the reasons why they get my vote.

Add the fact RVPR provides tools for members and guests to make better choices on which reviews to consider or not. These tools are in the "easy to read profiles" which include: review count, states map visited, helpful reviews, helpful votes, photo count, year member, this all gives you a good idea where the reviewer is coming from.

In addition with the new web site they are continually building and adding improvements.

We also used RVParkRreview.com while we were full-timing. It lists public campgrounds, too.

We also posted our stays on the site and if you can imagine traveling 365 days/year for 16 years you know that we made a lot of posts, including Alaska. :) I would hope that it's helped someone else along the way.

Rockhillmanor, sorry you don't post your favorite stays. These sites are only good if you use them.

There is not site that is complete. You have to do your homework but our first start was always RV Park Reviews.
