What are the best campground websites put on the internet by individuals, I have used Toad Hall a lot, any others? Thanks
I have used campadk.com (NY Campsite Photo Guide) a good bit and find it very helpful within the limited area it covers. Especially given that it's literally the project of a single individual (well, I guess actually a couple), it's a very impressive resource. - mdcampingExplorerMy preference is RV Park Reviews. Web site is built specifically for the RV/camping community with over 15k campgrounds and 283K reviews in their data base makes it a good resource. Check out their APP too
Mike - mikhenExplorerI've found that with Google Maps, if you search for "campground near (pick a place)", you will get all the campgrounds. Not just campgrounds that have reviews on the other sites.
- trailertravelerExplorerIn my experience, no one website or app includes all campgrounds. I use the following general websites:
RV Park Reviews, Passport America, Allstays, RV Parky, and
Woodalls.
Free Campgrounds, Free Campsites and the Escapees Days End Directory have a mix of low cost and free campgrounds, dry camping and boondocking locations.
U.S. Campgrounds, National Forest Campground Guide, the Ultimate Public Campground Project, and Corps of Engineers Campgrounds are good resources for local, state and federal campgrounds.
Boondockers Welcome and Harvest Host are groups that support low cost overnight stops.
Some of these websites allow you to download the data so that it can be displayed as POIs on a GPS or mapping program which I find extremely valuable when looking for a one night stop enroute. - magnusfideExplorer II

X2 for Allstays and they have a APP.
Triple ditto on AllStays.com
We've found their phone app easy to use as well as their regular website. It's the most complete and up to date site we've found for locating campgrounds. - IvylogExplorer IIIX2 for Allstays and they have a APP.
- md_procoupleExplorerWe agree with Rv. campground Reviews and plan overnight stops if needed. Good Luck and Happy Camping !!
- RoyBExplorer IIWe use google maps alot and in the search engine put in RV CAMP GROUNDS. Then we can mouse click on the those we see along our route and read about all the details which usually includes reviews etc...
