The Herkimer Diamond KOA ,in Herkimer NY, is a great family spot. The kids can go to the quarry and hunt for Herkimer diamonds or take a rubber tube and float down the river that is on the back side of the campground, lots of activities. They have theme cabins too. Great pool and the staff is friendly. This isn't an advertisement, just giving credit where it is due.
