campgrounds around disney california
We love traveling south the past few summers. With 2 boys ages 8 and 10 it is time for Disney. Any recomendations on campgrounds within an hour to the grounds?? We have a 30 foot fifthwheel. Thanks...

I just moved from San Diego after 35 years. I highly recommend you going south for a few days to visit. KOA San Diego is very nice but a little south of town. Campland on the Bay is good for kids, right on the bay but crowded and expensive. There are several Stare parks on tHe beach but the sites are small if you have a big rig. State parks also require a reservation well in advance for summer time. San Diego to Disneyland is about 2 hours so will have to be a seperate stop on your vacation.
