Campgrounds in Lexington, Kentucky

Kentucky Horse Park Campground is a great campground. A short drive into Lexington. They could have done a better job and made the sites more level and a little wider. Our 5th. wheel, at the time, had three steps and the steps hung over the edge of the asphalt which made for a big step down to the ground. We stayed there a few days last year in late October, beautiful. The park was not busy during the week but I am told on weekends is get very busy. The only negative, too many people with golf carts running around, many of them had gas engines, so the noise and fumes were a little much. I was told on weekends the number of golf carts explode and with kids driving them. Ky. Horse Park is a must see.
