Planning a trip to the St.Louis area next year any recommendations for campgrounds on or near the city and attractions would be helpful.

Wow! I guess we entered Babler the wrong way. We had no steep narrow roads. We're from Missouri and have been to many state parks. We've also lived in Michigan and not all roads are flat and straight.
