- don_b1Explorerwww.riversidecamp.com in Seiverville.is one suggestion. We just returned from a 5 day stay and would recommend this park as one to check out. We did the Smokey Mtn. tour plus Pigeon Forge and this Cg. was a convenient location. You will have a large selection, many in the area. Good luck.
- sdianel_-acct_cExplorerRiver Plantation is the one we like.
- MerrykaliaExplorerIf you are wanting to be IN Gatlinburg, Twin Creek is just outside the town area, right beside the town hall and has trolley access. If you are wanting to be closer to Pigeon Forge, try Pine Mountain (which is our choice). If you are wanting to be on the outskirts, try Smoky Bear in Cosby or if you want to be away from all the hustle and bustle, try Misty Mountain in Wallen.
All of these parks get pretty high marks and I have stayed in all of them except Twin Creek. - John_S_Explorer IISmokey bear campground is very nice too.
- Stars101Explorerx3 on Smokey Bear. Small, immaculate CG outside the hustle & bustle, but VERY close to Gatlinburg. Also easy access to Pigeon Forge.
- mike_brezExplorerPine Mountain was super clean.
- Harley_DudeExplorerWe always stay in Townsend, Tenn....the quiet side of the Smokies. About 10 minutes from Cades Cove and 18 miles to Gatlinburg. Very nice, quiet campground.
http://www.tremontcamp.com/ - tsetsafExplorer IIIWe stayed in Pigeon Forge but used this amazing resource to find our park See every park in Gatlinburg
- NC_RoamerExplorerWe stayed last week at the Riverbend CG in Pigeon Forge. Concrete site pads, some riverfront, full hookups, and very nice folks.
- campinmomof2ExplorerWe usually stay at Riverbend Campground. It is very quiet and peaceful there. We have stayed at Pine Mountain and Creekside as well. They are also nice. Each one is quite different as far as amenities, etc. If you can, go online and check them out.
