Suggest you check out Wassamki Springs in Scarborough. Nice campground, especially if you're just looking for a comfortable place to visit your grandaughter. But suggest you look carefully at season end dates wherever you may end up. Most of the campgrounds around here close up by Oct 15 at the latest. Someone suggested Chewonki in Wiscasset, but that's a lot more than 20 miles away. Check the maps wherever you decide. Enjoy your visit, and come back soon.
