We just came from the Freeport KOA which ggeeza mentioned. There's no shade in Section A but there are shaded sites elsewhere in the campground. Overall the campground is nice. Friendly staff. I strongly recommend that you avoid the Desert of Maine Campground as the WIFI does not work in the shaded and FHU sites and there is no TV.
I strongly suggest that you avoid Bayley's Campground in Scarborough which advertises 700 sites. Many sites are not level, sewer connections are uphill, and the campground is not well marked so you can easily get lost. It is difficult to maneuver around in the inner sections as the roads are tight.
The good part is that there is a restaurant nearby called the Clam Bake which is huge and busy so get there early.
