Campgrounds San Francisco Area
Having difficulty locating a CG in the Bay Area. Any recommendations?

you don't have many choices. most are outside the City.
Candlestick RV park is the only one in the City limits but it's a dangerous area.
SF RV Park in Pacifica is next closest but it's just a parking lot.
KOA in Petaluma is usually the most recommended.
Pleasanton has a RV park in the Fairgrounds.
there's a couple places in Napa, right in Wine Country.
