Campgrounds Santa Fe New Mexico

we are going to be going through Santa Fe NM in late May anyone have a suggestion for a safe clean campground ? 2 to 3 nights 35' Class A with toad thanks .
  • If you don't mind being 20 miles from town check out the Corps of Engineers campgrounds on Cochiti Lake. It’s a nice campground with a beautiful view and is much cheaper than commercial campgrounds in town.
  • Rancheros de Santa Fe was great we stayed there for a week last May

Cochiti lake is very popular. There are two COE campgrounds on Cochiti Lake. The Tetilla Peak campground is currently closed. Looking at the website reservation system, it may be closed for all of 2022. The Cochiti campground has two loops with water and electric hookups. The Bufallo Grove Loop has paved parking pads. The Juni Loop sites have gravel parking pads. The sites on the outside of the Juni loop do not all have water. Those on the inside of the loop do, but some spigots are a pretty long distance from the parking pad. Some of the Juni loop sites are carved into the hillside and have steps or a fairly steep slope up to the picnic table and shelter. There is a dump station in the Juni Loop and another at the campground entrance. There are two loops of dry camping sites. The convenience store just outside the campground has gas, diesel and a laundramat.
