Topsail is a great place though. You might want to consider also going to Gulf State Park near Gulf Shores Alabama. It has everything that Topsail has but you can drive right to the beach and there is a brand new huge pool. All the sites are FHU.

- The tram runs about every hour and does not take long to get to the beach.
Cons:
- You have to cart all your stuff with you on the tram which can be a hassle.
- The tram can be crowded, especially in the summer so you may have to wait until it makes a round trip.
- Parking where the tram starts can be a pain especially in summer months.
- Once you get to the beach you need to lug all your stuff over a good sized boardwalk to get to the sand.
