The only way to see DC if you have an RV. Very nice well run park, but you will not spend much time there. There is way to much to see in and around DC. The high light of all of our years of RV travel. Stay as long as you can. Tour and Metro buses pick you up right in the park. I would not even consider driving and parking in DC.
