Camping Between Sault Ste Marie and NH along 17 (Canada)

Question

We are traveling from Sault Ste Marie to Milton New Hampshire in mid to late September and would like recommendations on camp grounds. Don't necessarily need full nook-ups. We are small and can fit just about anywhere.......

Please if you have a recommendation give details on location we have never traveled this way before...

Check out Cobden Municipal Park, right off 17 in Cobden, Ontario,  We did that route in reverse - this park was about 1/2 way.  We found the route very nice to travel.  ST

Camped every weekend growing up at Driftwood Provincial Park, between North Bay and Ottawa.  Right on Ottawa river, beautiful colours in fall.
