Hi,
I was there a couple weeks before July 4th back in 2001 or so. I would not recommend the city campgrounds withall of 4 or 5 feet between the campers next door that time of year. However this time of year (November) you might be hard pressed to find any campground in a area with snow to be open at all, or have any water turned on. The private campgrounds might be your only pick to have water at your site.
As for water to your RV, I might suggest filling the fresh water tank every couple of days, and drain on the warmer days. That is what I did while in Portland Oregon, where we get some frost and only about 1/2" of snow rarely the winter I was here. My low was only 26 in 2007/08. I don't know the history of Branson, but my grandmother got deep snow sometimes a short distance away in Pea Ridge AR.
Yes both areas can get feet of snow, but that is rare.
Check Weather.com just before the trip, you will get a idea of the next month's weather. You can also check the local yearly averages.
Fred.
