Camping in the Redwoods
We are looking for an RV park in Northern California that is actually located in the Redwoods, if possible. If possible, near Ferndale/Eureka. Full hook up, not a parking lot, clean and quiet at night...

We liked both Ancient Redwoods and Kamp Klamath. Very different places, both well located.
AR is a modern parking lot style setup. Very sunny (which can be a good thing), even though it is surrounded by redwoods.
Kamp Klamath is much "funkier," not as modern, but more like camping than parking. Plenty of shade, very quiet, not right on the road.
KK has live music and a barbecue every Saturday night. But not everyone likes this place (even though we do). The bathrooms are pretty basic and need work, but local land use regulations are impairing the ability of the owners to upgrade the baths.
