Good info guys ... we're pretty mobile, obviously with TC, and don't care about FHU unless we need to charge or dump and fill water. We can usually go about a week most times if pushed.
We occasionally stay in a truck stop if we can't find a CG. We keep hearing everything is full, so want to ask those that are actually out there if that's true. We can fit nearly anywhere, even overflow for a night if its available.
At first we planned Sept / October >>> until too cold, and not so much coastal areas this time as that seems the most full the most often. We might push it until spring, and hit Texas Feb /March >>> then up thru Utah and north toward N Dakota as it warms up. We'll miss CA and OR and WA this time.
We know its usually difficult to get two weeks or so, but we are never looking for that. If we get two-three days at one spot, that's enough, unless we are targeting one specific park for longer. Then if it's available, we stay, if not, we move on. We are both retired, so timing is less critical than vacation folks. It's the journey, not the destination that we seek :) Thanks all.
