Good valid points. At Kachina dances at Hopi you will see them videoing the dance, but don't you dare try. Good point about alcohol. You will find yourself in the local jail for open consumption of alcohol although the locals will get away with it. We never accepted an offer of a cold one even from friends while on the reservation. Guides are required to many areas including those mentioned above. However, you can get into many places with local friends.
