Supply and demand. Our waters are flooded with boats in the summer from US or Canada. NOBODY gets a break from a marina unless you're buying a thousand gallons at a time.
We will be snowboarding for first next winter. Exchange is a PITA but not a major consideration although it may be for some who have been there, done that. However it may make the difference between going to Europe which is a bargain now even on the Loonie.
