The appeal of low cost friendly winters will not be lost. After a couple of unfriendly winters elsewhere, many return to the RGV. Took me a month in South Florida last January to figure it out again. Plenty of Golfing, Biking, and Kayaking in the RGV for those that get bored with great food, sunsets, low prices, dancing, and did I mention, friendly people.
