Some friends and I were just talking about this subject the other day. We are all US residents. We have many Canadian friends in Yuma, AZ. during the winter. The situation sure could change the winter population and economy. Many Canadians own homes, park models, and RV lots in the area. One of the discussions was about your out of country insurance. Will companies sell it, will it be affordable, and will it cover treatment for corona if in the lower 48? My neighbor had 10 days to get back across the border in March according to an email from his insurance company. And I just saw where the border closure was extended today to July 21. Here's hoping everything works out and you folks can do what you usually do!
Some insurers have delayed giving online quotes, some haven't, and are still actively selling policies. The Covid19 caveats are simply that you won't be covered for it, as it's considered a "pre-existing" condition now, and you can't travel to places that heve been banned or recommended against travel to/from by the government.
