Cape Kennedy KOA

Good Afternoon
Checking to see if anyone has stayed at the Cape Kennedy KOA recently. Was thinking about one of their deluxe sites for about 30 days. Have checked RV Park Reviews and see good reviews and bad reviews.Always wonder about longer stays at a park I have never seen. Last few years we have stayed with Olde Mill Stream in Umatilla, Fl. but thought we would see another part of Florida. If anyone has any experience staying here would you please share.
Thanks and have a great day
Roy

  • Here's another one for you http://www.brevardcounty.us/ParksRecreation/Campgrounds/ManateeHammock/Home#

It's convenient to KSC, Titusville, Cocoa, Cocoa Beach and the Valiant Air Command museum at TICO Airport. We liked it a lot and will return. Note that only the southern strip of sites is going to get satellite TV.
  • Thanks to all for the response. We think we will try Christmas RV park. You just wonder about a park you have not seen for a months stay. We would like to see another part of Fl. this year. We usually stay at Olde Mill Stream, Umatilla Fl.
    Thanks Again

I can second the nomination for Jetty Park (we didn't actually stay there because of a weird pet policy, but we did tour it and it looked really nice). And it's probably not what you're looking for, but we stayed instead at The Great Outdoors Resort in Titusville. Hard to describe. This is the way I described it at the time: "This place has over 600 RV sites, and the sites that are for sale range in cost from $40,000 for a concrete pad, to over $800,000 for a residence with an RV “garage” that’s nicer than my house! Add to that an onsite golf course, driving range, RV repair and supplies facility, chapel, two restaurants, cart rentals and repair, activities galore, and so on, and it’s hard not to be satisfied. One night we just happened to wander in to a lecture on the resident alligator population, which was as good as anything we’ve seen done by National Park Rangers!" Anyway... back to reality.
  • Christmas RV Park, in Christmas is really nice -- stayed there three months last year. Not far from Cape Canaveral either. (Christmas is just west of Titusville.)
  • Seasons in the Sun RV Park, Mims FL. Great park and location near the Cape, with nice amenities and friendly staff.
  • I'm not familiar with the Cape Kennedy KOA, but if you're considering other alternatives in the area I can recommend Jetty Park in nearby Cape Canaveral. Right on the ocean, if that is of interest. Does well on RV Park Reviews, too.
